For decades, the Safe Children Coalition has served as the leading community-based care agency covering Sarasota, Manatee and DeSoto counties. Our team, in collaboration with a network of organizations and partners, provides a number of critical, life-saving programs and services, including foster care, adoption, and prevention and diversion programs that are vital to the safety and well-being of children and families in our community.
Our guiding principles include a focus on child safety, health and well-being. community Involvement, accountability, Resource management. responsiveness, providing trauma informed care, and a single point of entry for serving children and families.
Safe Children Coalition is the leading nonprofit community-based care agency for Florida's Circuit 12, covering Sarasota, Manatee, and Desoto counties. We work with community stakeholders to provide care to children and families in the child welfare system and in our prevention programs.
Safe Children Coalition served more than 10,000 children last year in foster care, adoptions, and prevention and diversion programs.
