Mon, June 23 – Submit co-presenter details. Send the link above to your co-presenter and/or panelists to complete themselves.
Mon, June 23 – Submit presentation revisions to title, description, or main presenter details or submit main presenter headshot.
Mon, July 7 – Presenter registration. A special link will be sent to presenters when registration opens on June 30.
Fri, Sept 12 – Submit final draft of materials (PowerPoint files and handouts). Use the form link above to upload a copy of your final PowerPoint file.
Fri, Sept 12 – Change or add a co-presenter. Revisions to presenter and panelist names must be sent in writing to conference@sccfl.org. Last-minute presenter and/or entourage additions will not be permitted. These changes will be too late for the printed program.
Conference Information
Presentation rooms will be equipped with laptops, PowerPoint slide advancers (clickers), handheld mic, podium gooseneck mic, and projectors. Laptops will be pre-loaded with presentation materials.
Each presentation will include two free conference registrations for presenters to attend the conference as participants.

Audience Information
The Safe Children Coalition conference provides training and networking opportunities to 400-500 child welfare professionals from throughout the state of Florida and across the United States where connections are made, and resources are shared. Our attendees include case managers, child advocates, child protective investigators, Child Protection Team staff, attorneys, court staff, DCF staff, relative and non-relative caregivers, foster and adoptive parents, Guardians ad Litem, law enforcement, and service providers.
Presentation Guidelines and Expectations of Professionalism
| Large and Minimal Text | Minimize text and graphics on each slide. Choose simple, sans serif fonts for optimal readability. Text titles should be 30+ pt. and body text should be 24+ pt for visibility. |
| Suggested Engagement | Plan for opportunities to engage the audience with questions, pair-shares (discussion with neighbor), and note-taking (individual responses for learning). |
| Professionalism | Avoid hot button topics like politics and religion. Use respectful language (no profanity). |
