CHILDREN AND PARENTS TOGETHER ALWAYS (CAPTA)

Every baby deserves a strong start and every parent deserves support.

Pregnancy and Parenthood are often a time of excitement, but it can also feel overwhelming and stressful. If you’re using substances like alcohol or drugs, these feelings may be intensified, and you might feel uncertain about asking for help. But you’re not alone. Seeking support is crucial,

as substance use can pose risks to both you and your baby. You don’t have to face this journey alone, support is here, and hope starts now.

Our free in-home program wraps you and your baby in care and support, offering help where and when you need it most. CAPTA provides healthcare guidance, compassionate counseling, parenting education, and connections to community resources.

Our counselors offer family-centered counseling for infants and caregivers impacted by substance misuse. A dedicated counselor will take time to truly understand your family’s story, create a personalized Plan of Safe Care, and build on your strengths while helping you navigate challenges with compassion and care.

Our dedicated nurses are here to support you with personal guidance through every stage, from pregnancy to after your baby arrives. We’ll help you connect with the right prenatal care, support you with your baby’s development, and guide you in making healthy choices for both you and your child. Whether it’s emotional support, lactation, postpartum care and or infant care, we’re here to encourage you, so you feel confident as you embrace motherhood.

SafeCare: Building Stronger Families from the Start
