Youth Intervention Services (YIS) provides free individual and family counseling for youth ages 10-17. These services are provided in the home, school, or within the community. At YIS, our mission is to provide individualized counseling to under-served youth who are at-risk of becoming more deeply involved with the juvenile justice or child welfare systems of care.

Our counselors work directly with youth and families to address issues such as unsafe behaviors, aggression, substance misuse, emotional instability, academic challenges, and ongoing family conflict. Through individualized support, YIS empowers youth to overcome their challenges and build a brighter, more stable future. Through these services, Safe Children Coalition can reach even more vulnerable youth, delivering the right support at the right time, when it matters most.
